Welcome to Virginia’s Chambers International Recovery - Praying to Stay Alive, an organisation working towards a society where older people are valued, connected, and filled with hope by combatting loneliness and equipping churches to speak out.

Our aim is to combat loneliness amongst the elderly one step at a time. We offer support programmes that are open to everybody, regardless of religion, physical ability or background – meaning everyone has a chance to be included in a spiritual uplifting.

Who's involved?
Our volunteers are all from local churches and lead a range of outdoor activities including:
- Walking, gardening and holistic meditations in outdoor settings.
- Outdoor sermons and gatherings involving music.
-We partner in projects to improve different corporations.
-We will have different giving programs which work for our organisation.
- Promote sense of purpose in life helping homeless escape their addictions and work towards rehabilitation.

Activities
Plan
All of our community based activites will support individuals based on their own goals and interests.
Programme 1: Outdoor planting - direct sowing of seeds into the ground as a group in a community allotment. This activity will be held at a council owned allotment site and is intended to encourage group activity and group socialisation.
Programme 2: Yoga and fitness groups which will be delivered by registered instructors with exercises tailored specifically to the needs and abilities of older people. For example – chair exercises, resistance training and water therapy (sea therapy, paddling).
Our therapy treatments include:Relaxing body massages, Facial ,Manicure, & Pedicure, Hand massages reliefs of stress and anxiety.. We will be only using Avon products. https://www.shopwithmyrep.co.uk/store/virginiachambers
Programme 3: Live music from award winning gospel artists, using portable performance equipment. During the summer we will host these meetings outside, while in the winter (or in adverse conditions) we will move the meetings indoors and use a local community room. Learning for adults and children learning to enhance by four elements respect building action communities or people trying to bring about change.
Programme 4: Fun group activities including golfing, cycling and cooking exhibitions.Fancy dress makeovers celebrating people's birthday helping breast cancer awareness domestic violence. Is inspirational comedy ideas fashion show.Cooking expedition cycling golf in water keep fit.
All of our meetings will consider the continuing risks posed by COVID-19 and follow all government guidelines in order to protect our members.
